Happy 15th Birthday Ryker

 Dear Ryker,

Oh what a year with so many things happening. You are just getting too old for this Mama's liking. You finished your last year in middle school and started your first year of high school. Where has the time gone? I swear you were just a little boy that I would snuggle on. You got your braces off after a long 33 months and it paid off. Your smile is breathtaking! We spent a lot of our time this year camping and playing. I think you drove the side by side more than us tackling your own obstacles in Moab. A few of the places we hit were Moab, sand dunes, Island Park, Kanab, Fish Lake, Sand Hollow, St Anthony and a few races. You have been riding dads 350 a bit and your itching to move up to a 250. You are doing great in school and love welding. Your best friends are Bridger, Easton and Daygun. You tagged your first ever elk on an open bull tag. Its a nice 6 point that we european mounted. You are the sweetest young man with a heart of gold. You always help Mama out with everything and are such a big help. You worked all summer long and saved up a bunch of money to go towards your truck. You have worked so hard on your truck and should be so proud of yourself. You are such a joy to be around and we love you so much. We feel so blessed and thankful you chose us to be your parents.

4 years old?

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! This has been a BIG year for you.... you are FINALLY "poop" potty trained. Oh my Ryker I cannot believe how INCREDIBLY hard you were to potty train. Although we still have some pee accidents all in all you do great, I think you are just to on the go to take the time out from playing. You started preschool and you love it! Your best friends are Cash and Beckham (Bear). Some mornings you do not want to go and whine that you want me to go with you but you always go and come back home with the biggest smile and tell me how much fun you had. Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life! I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy! My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
