Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life!

I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy!


As Dora and I went the cemetery yesterday to decorate Mom's and Grandma's grave I was thinking how may incredibly, wonderful, strong, amazing women in my life have passed on. My Aunt Shelia, Grandma Roberts. Grandma McCabe and now my Grandma and Mom. It's just not fair I miss them all so much and still need them with me.


It was so surreal decorating the grave of the two women that raised me. This is the first Mother's day I was not able to talk to them and share stories with them. Yesterday was so HARD on me like the day they passed away. I hate that I longer have them to celebrate but only memories. I love them both more than I can ever explain and my heart will always be broken without them. It gives me comfort that they are together and that I will be able to be with them again one day but it still does not ease the pain.

Happy Mother's day to all the amazing women in my life that have passed on and that I am blessed to still be surrounded by. I love you all and I am so thankful for each and every one of you and the impact and inspiration you have made in my life!

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! This has been a BIG year for you.... you are FINALLY "poop" potty trained. Oh my Ryker I cannot believe how INCREDIBLY hard you were to potty train. My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
