Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night Monday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal. She agreed it was probable from camping and his sensitive skin. When Chris brought Ryker home yesterday evening he looked terrible the bumps were red and now all over his body so we rushed him up the doctor. The doctor thinks he may have a viral infection which has broke him out in hives (that would explain the fever he got), a food allergy because we had gave him some new things camping or last chick pox's. Oh the joys of motherhood! If it is chicken pox's we will know in the next 24 hours because some of the bumps will get infection in them and look like a pimple. All three prognosis are viral so all we can do is make my poor Toota Bug comfortable with Benadryl, oatmeal baths and love until they work there course which will be 5 to 7 days.

Sorry for the bum shot but it shows how bad the bumps are. It's a cute bum anyways!
