Dear Larkyn,

Another year and you will NOT listen about not getting any older. I hate that you’re not little anymore but you are growing into the spunkiest little young lady. You are fiercely independent, determined to no end and a spitfire. You truly don’t take anyone’s BS. School is so easy for you and you excel at everything you put your mind to. You loved having Mr. Painter this year. He teased you and you gave it right back. Chickens are still your favorite animal and you love when we have little chicks. You are ROCKING it at motocross and are always pushing yourself to get a higher place. We hate to see you beat yourself up when you don’t get the place you want but it seems to just make you work harder. This is your last year on the 50. You have practiced your 65 a bit but you love the electric bike so this will take some getting use to. You did art classes all year and your teacher thought you were so naturally talented which we have always known. Your ability to draw at such a young age amazes so many people. You decided to take a little break from it during the summer months but we hope you get back into it. Ryker and you are still close although you do have arguments. You protect him and have his back no matter what. All animals seem to gravitate to you and you to them. You have such a love for animals besides Piper you like to aggravate her. Your best friends are Harley, Vera (Faith), Itzel and of course your little love Jaxsen. You make everyday an adventure and fill our home with so much fun. Happy 9th Birthday baby girl!

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! This has been a BIG year for you.... you are FINALLY "poop" potty trained. Oh my Ryker I cannot believe how INCREDIBLY hard you were to potty train. Although we still have some pee accidents all in all you do great, I think you are just to on the go to take the time out from playing. You started preschool and you love it! Your best friends are Cash and Beckham (Bear). Some mornings you do not want to go and whine that you want me to go with you but you always go and come back home with the biggest smile and tell me how much fun you had. You are learning so much and it amazes me, I will listen and watch you play or watch a tv cartoon and you can usually answer all the questions correctl...

Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life! I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy! As Dora and I went the cemetery yesterday to decorate Mom's and Grandma'...

My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
