Happy 12th Birthday Ryker


Dear Ryker,

It's the last year before you are a teenager.... I swear you were just born! My tiny little toota bug, my first born is now my big buddy. Being your parents has been the most exciting adventure. You are so smart and have come so far in school. You are holding your own and at grade level. You never let your learning disability, dyslexia, hold you back. Heck most people don't even know you do have it. Years of tutoring and being so willing to progress has made the world of difference. We are so proud of you. This past year has been a challenge to say the least. The year of the pandemic covid-19 has SUCKED! Being home more has been fun though. We have had a lot more family time. Luckily we have still been able to race and you are doing great. You are so strong and push yourself but only if you are comfortable with it. You are cautious and know your limits. We are excited you got a new Husky 85 for your birthday to move up on. You have got so into hunting with your Daddy, Uncle Bret and Chase. I have been amazed how many times you have went hiking with Daddy. He is like a mountain goat and can go such a far distance but he stays you never complain. The hiking, waiting and scouting was worth the wait and you got to shoot your first deer this year. Hitting it with both shots you took. I think you are really hooked now!!! You still love your video games and friends. Jaxson Batt, Drew Herrera and Preston are your best friends. You still play and include your sister although you do like to pester her. You are a great big brother! Life with you is fun and full of laughter. We are all lucky to watch you grow into this little man but feel free to slow down. Happy Birthday Ryker. We love you to the moon.

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! This has been a BIG year for you.... you are FINALLY "poop" potty trained. Oh my Ryker I cannot believe how INCREDIBLY hard you were to potty train. Although we still have some pee accidents all in all you do great, I think you are just to on the go to take the time out from playing. You started preschool and you love it! Your best friends are Cash and Beckham (Bear). Some mornings you do not want to go and whine that you want me to go with you but you always go and come back home with the biggest smile and tell me how much fun you had. You are learning so much and it amazes me, I will listen and watch you play or watch a tv cartoon and you can usually answer all the questions correctl...

Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life! I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy! My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
