Happy 6th Birthday Mr. Ryker


Dear Ryker,

Every year I say the same thing how are you this old? Now I am just going to say PLEASE STOP GROWING!!! I made a little video montage of a lot of your photos since you were small and put it to the song by Rascall Flatts "My Wish". The song is so fitting for what I want for you. I bet I watched it a dozen times today and cried my eyes out each time. Time truly does fly when you are having fun. I don't care old you get or how big you get you will always be my baby boy, my first born, the one who granted my life long wish of being a Mama. We were blessed to have had a boy first, a big brother and protector of your sister. You are the adventurous one that has us laughing all the time at all your comments and antics. But still so sensitive, will cuddle and give kisses. This has been a fun year for you playing t-ball for the first time, graduating preschool, going on our first major vacation to NYC, Washington DC and PA on an airplane and moving on to Kindergarten. You just started to learn to read and are doing so well at it. You are in love with all your batman toys, nerf guns and games on the Ipad. You truly are the apple of our eyes and we are so blessed to call you our son. We love watching you grow, learn and play. Your favorite color is blue and green, Favorite food is salad. Favorite TV show is Dino Dan. You have too many friends to count because you love everyone. We love you Toota Bug and hope you have another GREAT and FUN year! Happy 6th Birthday!

He is just our little guy but is healthy and happy!

4 years old?

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! This has been a BIG year for you.... you are FINALLY "poop" potty trained. Oh my Ryker I cannot believe how INCREDIBLY hard you were to potty train. Although we still have some pee accidents all in all you do great, I think you are just to on the go to take the time out from playing. You started preschool and you love it! Some mornings you do not want to go and whine that you want me to go with you but you always go and come back home with the biggest smile and tell me how much fun you had. Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life! I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy! As Dora and I went the cemetery yesterday to decorate Mom's and Grandma'...

My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
