Our last day in NYC we headed out to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I loved this street sign of which way what state or island was.

All aboard

So in love even after almost 15 years

Our MEAN sweet girl

Miss Liberty

Erwin and Aleta with the original torch

How she was constructed

Example of how big Miss Liberty's face is

Stairs to climb the rest of the way to the crown 357 to be exact. Chris, Shay, Bret and Erwin went the whole way up. Aleta, the kiddos and I just did the 195 steps to the pedestal.
Not JUST that was A LOT!

Daddy at the top of the crown. He said it was way tight up there.

Looking down from the crown

Brett and Shay

We let the kids run around and play while the others went to the crown. These camo trees are so neat.

Sassy pants herself

We got a cool surprise of sunglasses

Ellis Island Museum

Our car rental place was just a little down the street so we rolled our bags that a away. Nothing like a huge family walking the streets of NYC with A LOT of luggage.

In our "Assault Vehicle". Yes we named her! Off to Washington DC....

I was sad to leave NYC I truly could have stayed the whole time. I LOVE IT THERE!
