Random!

I wish someone could explain to me why the men are so tired with a newborn? I think it should be required that the MOM gets the naps!!!
Hee Hee!
He is smitten and she loves to watch him run around and play. As long as he is not two inches from her face she doesn't seem to like that one bit.
I cannot believe how much she loves to be on her tummy!
This was her first walk (8/24) in a stroller without the car seat attached. She seemed to enjoy herself although we were having a very fussy day!
I wanted to write down some of Ryker's saying about and to Sissy-
  • He constantly goes up to her and asks "Do you love brother.... yes or no?" We always tell him she sure does love you!
  • When she starts to fuss or cry he will go up to her and say "Do you need brother?" if she doesn't stop he looks at me and says "She needs you Mama".
  • He loves to give her the binky but is a little harsh jamming it in.
  • He always makes sure she has one of his toys when she is awake and wonders why she does not play with it.
  • We get asked at least every other day if we can teach Larkyn to roll over, crawl or walk today.
  • He doesn't seem to get annoyed or bothered when she is screaming in the car although it dives Mama crazy.
  • When I ask him if he can grab me a diaper he tells me in the funniest voice and look on his face "That's not my job"!
  • He wants Larkyn to sleep with him so bad in his bed.
  • He gags if he comes near her when she has pooped.
  • He gets so protective and very upset if any kids want to see or touch her that he pushes his way in to take over. Adults are okay.

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life! I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy! As Dora and I went the cemetery yesterday to decorate Mom's and Grandma'...

My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
