12 weeks 1 day
We had another scare with our precious tinniest lovie last Friday (13th.... Ugh yeah Friday the 13th). I woke up normally went to the bathroom and was spotting bright red blood. As I panicked I called my doctor and she sent me in for an emergency ultrasound. Dora and Chris both took me in. We were beyond relieved to see the baby moving around like crazy and a strong heartbeat. The technician was fantastic and was basically crying with me because I was so happy. Originally we thought I was miscarrying or that my fibroid was causing the bleeding but my fibroid has actually shrunk or was not measured right in the first ultrasound (it's 2 1/2 x 3 cm and is on the top of uterus which is a great place for it to be). The technician seemed confident it was not the cause of the bleeding or that it will not bother my pregnancy. She did find a very small detachment of my placenta from the uterus wall. She said it could have just happened or maybe has not completely attach itself yet. They usually heal on there own and we are praying that by Feb. 3rd (my next appointment) that it will have healed. I was ordered from my doctor to be on pelvic rest which means no sex, exercise or lifting anything over 5 lbs, I am able to still work because I sit most of the time but I am suppose to relax and sit as much as possible to let my body heal on its own. This pregnancy is a challenge to say the least and is so much different from my PERFECT pregnancy with Ryker but I am staying positive and doing everything I possibly can to insure our tinniest lovie gets here safe and sound. I usually do not like to tell others about problems we are having but I figure this is my blog/journal and also the extra prayers from others are needed.
