It was such a cold, rainy, muddy weekend that we had no idea what we were going to do. I have been looking at bedroom sets from Ryker and thought we could go look at Rc Willey. Of course I forgot its Columbus Day and they were having a BIG sale so I could not pass up the savings. I should have listened to my hubby when he said a full is too big but it was only $50 more than a twin and will last him much longer.
This was the first night in his big boy bed (10/8).... Yes its a little big! He went from his crib to this. When he woke up Sunday morning he came running out of his bedroom saying "I am awake Mama". He is so proud of his bed and that he can get in and out on his own. He got scared on Sunday night and had a bad dream so here he came a running in our room to be comforted but we took him back in and he went right back to sleep. I hope that does not keep happening.
(please do not judge his bedding we got home way to late from the movies so I did not have time to put his new sheets on. I will take a picture of his new furniture when his room is together!)

On Sunday we went to help Pa Pa lay some pipe. Can you tell my Dad loves Princess Lilly?
Ryker had to ride with Pa Pa and Lilly
Somebody hit Ryker with the "Phantom Ghost". He was so excited to get his treats he kept saying "Thank you Mama Thank you Mama". I could not get through to him that we did not do it for him.
When I was at work the other day my dad was changing his boots and this penny fell out. We always tease him that he is a el' chepo so I started teasing him about the penny. He told me Ryker put that penny in his boot when he was really little and he has kept it in there for good luck. It touched my heart so much that my Dad has kept that there. He loves Ryker so very much and we are so lucky to have Pa Pa! Ryker tells me all the time that "Pa Pa is my best fiend"!
