LaBoR dAy WeEkEnD cAmPiNg

We left home for the sand dunes early (6 a.m.) Friday morning. We took Ryker right from his bed into the truck so he could sleep some more but oh no that is not how it worked out he was so excited to go camping and sleep in the trailer. As soon as we got there Ryker instantly wanted to ride his dirt bike obviously he was so impatient he would not even change out of his jammies.


Finally he got dressed and then some more riding! I cannot believe how big he is getting... were did my baby go?

Briggs LOVED jumping the razor with his Dad. It scared me a little bit but what a bad ass picture!

Ryker is obsessed with riding Dax's four-wheeler every time we are camping. Santa may need to bring him one of his own.

Building a birthday cake in the sand..... Mckell and Grandma joined in on the fun!

The boys were hot and wanted to cool off so Daddy and Bret hooked them up, of course it was Mommy and Dora's bright idea but we needed the guys muscles.

Do you think he wears his crocs too much (look at the tan line on his feet)? Look at how tan my boy is.... He gets that good skin from his Daddy!

Oh how fun it is to be little.... I LOVE THESE BOYS!

Dax & Ryker being the best of friends at sand mountain. Dax is so cute to watch out for Ryker and mother him a bit. :)

Dax & Ryker loved that David hooked them up with a light so they could ride the four wheeler at night around the camp. Of course David could not resist riding with them.

What another GREAT, FUN FILLED, RELAXING camping trip with family and friends!

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! This has been a BIG year for you.... you are FINALLY "poop" potty trained. Oh my Ryker I cannot believe how INCREDIBLY hard you were to potty train. Although we still have some pee accidents all in all you do great, I think you are just to on the go to take the time out from playing. You started preschool and you love it! Some mornings you do not want to go and whine that you want me to go with you but you always go and come back home with the biggest smile and tell me how much fun you had. Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life! I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy! As Dora and I went the cemetery yesterday to decorate Mom's and Grandma'...

My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
