Our CrAzY life!

It has been INSANE at the Allen household lately. We have had a lot going on, Chris and I decided to try to put our house up for sale because we really wanted a rambler. I am so tired of the tri-level home.... too many stairs! Don't get me wrong I love our house but it was never a home that we were planning on staying in forever just a starter. Anyways we really did not think it would sell because the housing market is so poor anyways here is a run down of what happened next:
  • 10/21/10 We signed a listing contract and the Realtor put the sign up in our yard.
  • 10/23/10 We had a buyer come look at the house.
  • 10/25/10 We received a contract from the people that came and looked at our house so we took a chance and put in a contract on a house we had been admiring but thought we would never get.
  • 11/17/10 We closed on both our sell and our new house!
  • 11/18/10 Got the keys to new our new house! YEAH!

Yes we sold our house in 3 days from putting the sign up! Yes we had to pack, move and get ready to move into our new house all in 29 days! We are so truly blessed and know that is was meant to be for us to have this new home!

I will blog pictures once we get settled and unpacked. We have a loonnngggg weekend ahead of us moving in but we are more than thrilled!

4 years old?

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! This has been a BIG year for you.... you are FINALLY "poop" potty trained. Oh my Ryker I cannot believe how INCREDIBLY hard you were to potty train. Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life! I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy! As Dora and I went the cemetery yesterday to decorate Mom's and Grandma'...

My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
