We had Ryker's 1st birthday party last night (a little late due to the flu and ear infection)! We had a GREAT turn out and it was a lot fun for our little man.
Ryker was really spoiled with lots of toys and some really cute clothes. We cannot believe that Ryker wore this hat most of the night and did not even bother with it. Chris thought it was such a dumb idea for me to get it for him because he thought he would not wear it. Well he did and he looked adorable!

Ryker had a fit when we took him away from all the cool new toys to eat cake so by the time we sang and gave him his cake he was not a happy camper (that's an understatement, he was hysterical).

By the time most everyone left he dove right into the cake and ate so much of it. We think maybe he did not like all the people looking at him and disbursing his toy time. Mommy was scared to death he was going to go into a sugar comma from eating so much of the frosting. It took him a long, long time to settle down and go to bed last night because of the sugar high he was on.
All in all it was a FANTASTIC 1st birthday for our little man!

Dear Ryker, How in the world are you 4 years old? I remember your Daddy handing me this tiny precious lovie like it was yesterday. I don't care how old or big you get you will ALWAYS be my baby, my first born that taught me so much. I never knew true, pure, deep love until I had you! Happy MOTHER'S Day!

I LOVE Mother's Day. I love being a Mommy.... Ryker is truly the BEST thing that has ever happened to me and I am so extremely blessed that he is my baby! I woke up to Ryker saying "Happy Mom" and Chris and Ryker making me breakfast. I got a hand made card from Chris and Ryker and it melted my heart and made me cry like a baby. Chris and I talked before Mother's day and I asked him not to get me any gifts which he was disappointed in but we are in the process for buying a toy hauler and I wanted to make sure that was cut and dried before spending any money. Chris wanted to get me and promised me a seat to go on the back of my four-wheeler.... he spoils me! I love my two lovies so very much! Thank you for making my day so incredibly SPECIAL! I cherish every moment I have with the two men in my life! I've been called a lot of things in my life, but my favorite of all is Mommy! My poor baby boy

Ryker had a few bumps on his back that I noticed on Sunday. I figured it was his sensitive skin from us out camping and from me not putting an lotion on him. I hate to put lotion on him when we are camping because I feel like all the dust sticks to him and makes him even more dirty. Anyways on Monday he was so whiny and running a fever so we packed up and came home. Ryker struggled with the fever all night M onday and even actually slept with Chris and I which has never happened. I figured the fever was from two more of his teeth coming through. Anyway Tuesday when he woke up Ryker was normal again happy as can be so we went about our day. Well Wednesday I needed to go to work so I packed Ryker up to take him to Grandma Irene and I was telling her about these bumps on his legs that you could feel but barley see and she said her other granddaughter gets bumps all the time and it's no big deal.
