Back to School!

Larkyn started her first year in the Junior High. She had a great first day and is excited to be out of elementary. Sophmore year for Ryker. He wasn't ready for summer to be over and neither was Mama. I miss them while they are at school.

Ogden Race

While John and Matt were here to visit the kids and Chris raced in Ogden. Larkyn waded herself up during practice pretty bad. She wasn't able to race but the boys did great.   She had so much dirt in her teeth. It broke her brackets as well. Her face was a mess even though she had her helmet on. Bruises all over her legs and a sprained wrist.

Dad and John Clogston

Matt brought up John Clogston (Shelia's ex husband, Matt's dad) up to see Dad. They haven't seen each other in 35 plus years. It was a great weekend. We had a BBQ with all the kids on Friday night. Saturday we took them to the Kennecott Mine then around to Dad's property and finished off with dinner at the Brewery, John's health isn't the best and he really wanted to see Dad one more time.

Tooele County Stock Show

Tooele Valley Meat loves to support the kiddos at the stock show. Its a great time spending it with my Daddy.  Finished the night off watching the storm roll in from the gazebo.

Larkyn's 12th Birthday Party

How in the world is this girl already 12. I just cant take it. She sure brings the FUN to everything! Always with a chicken to blow out her candles.

Happy Birthday Miss Larkyn

Happy 12th Birthday Larkyn! Dear Larkyn,  Why do you keep growing up on us? Time is such a thief. 12 years old and going on 30. You are the most independent, strong willed, sassy, kind hearted, smart, beautiful young lady. You started and finished up your last year in elementary school and, of course, you got amazing grades. School has always come so easy to you. You are so friendly and have tons of good friends. You are not one to just need one friend; you have a lot that are boys and girls. You don't go through all that girl drama. You are laid back and such a tom-boy still that you can hang with the boys just as much as girls. Some days I think you would prefer to hang out with boys instead of the girls. Your daddy is still your #1. As a mom, I try not to let it make me sad as I am the same with my dad. You love to do anything your dad is doing and love all the hobbies he has as well. You took hunters education this year and are so excited for the fall to deer hunt. We wen...

First time to Country Fan Fest

I have always thought that this didn't look fun to go to but we actually had a great time. It was HOT but was fun after the sun went down.

Island Park

My most favorite place on earth! I love everything about this place especially floating the river. We had so much fun on river. Mama don't think she has ever been that drunk in her life but it was a GREAT time.

Taylor & Anthony's Wedding
