Dance & Roper's 1st Birthday

Larkyn has been getting ready for her Christmas recital. I don't really think she loves dance because the ballet bores her. I hope she gets a little more excited about it when she starts doing more tap. She LOVES her teacher tho  I was finally able to get Grandpa's memorial hung up at the plant. Thanks to Victor's awesome picture hanging skills. Now he can watch over us all the time. I miss him dearly!  I cannot believe my little love is "1"! Where has the time gone?  He LOVES food.... any food!   Happy Birthday to our best little love Roper!

Thanksgiving

Larkyn is obsessed with any animals especially Dora's Before Thanksgiving dinner playing at Grandma's  I LOVE the holidays and being able to soak up family time. I am truly grateful for each and every one of my family members. Although this holiday was ruff being the first one without Grandpa Roberts, I was grateful to be able to talk to Val and share some memories of him.

Two peas in a pod! Kissy Kissy  We had to go see Grandpa and Grandma now that the headstone is all done.  This love will eat ANYTHING.... Grapefruit boy!  I came into the living room and asked Larkyn what she was doing and she said "letting my baby eat my boob like Criddle's baby does". I started to chuckle. She sure pays attention to Crystal feeding her baby. This is what a sick day looks like at our house!

Nitro Circus Live

We purchased these tickets 6 months before the show. We were all excited to go check out some of our favorite riders and stunt guys. We just took Ryker because we figured Larkyn wouldn't sit through the show. We started out the night at mine and David's favorite place to eat Teppanyaki! Ryker loves watching them cook the food. Ryker was beyond EXCITED to go there until we actually got there. He was so mad that we were sitting in the nose bleed section instead of right down on the floor. Even the nose bleed section was so expensive. Poor little man!  He still enjoyed the show and his hat he got! The crew was AMAZING!  These two are the BEST of friends!

The kiddos were playing doctor while we were waiting for a check-up I hope they become doctors someday and cure cancer. I HATE CANCER!  The Peanuts movie  The were both so good and didn't make a peep   Sunday Funday ride on the buggies  This is were Hadley has to be every time Ryker does his homework

Grandpa Roberts' 3rd heart attack & his passing

Grandpa came to me at work on October 21st asking me the name of his heart doctor and I questioned him as to why and he told me he was having some pressure in his chest. I immediately took him to the Tooele ER although he didn't want to go. We wound up being ambulanced with lights and sirens to the U of U Hospital. By the next morning we had learned Grandpa had a massive heart attack and he was rushed into surgery to see the extent of the damage. After about 2 hours they came out to us and explained they put another stent in (now he had 4) and also a balloon to help his heart with pumping. We knew it was not good at this point as they told us he was going into the cardiovascular ICU and that he was in critical condition. Grandpa was so bad the first couple of days. His mind was not right and he was seeing strange things. It was so upsetting to watch. Between Dora, My Dad, Chris and I we spent a lot of nights camping out in the waiting room, I was honored and h...
