We took Sissy to the doctor for her umbilical granuloma because it is still oozing after 4 more weeks. They put the silver nitrate on it again but I think they may have done it a little too liberal because her healthy good skin is a little pink (irritated) . They put vaseline all over the good skin so I am not sure what exactly happened. We are hoping this solves the problem and that we do not have to do anymore treatments. FINGERS CROSSED! We also talked to the doctor about her having silent acid reflux they think she does and prescribed her zantac.... well that stuff is HORRIBLE! How could they give an infant such gross tasting medicine and expect them to take it? I am not going to give it to her unless I see her symptoms worsen. I have researched it and seen that most babies have reflux and out grow it.   The family had a bet on how much Larkyn would weigh. She weighed 6.3 at birth (never lost any weigh in the hospital) and weighed 7 lb. at her two week check-up. I guesse...

Of course they had to give Sissy a pedi So stinking cute! Ryker LOVED having the girls here to play with!

We had a BLAST at the zoo with cousins besides it being so HOT! When Ryker has to go he has to go. I have really got teach him he cannot pee anywhere but at least he doesn't have accidents. We took Toota Bug to his open house and he was such a BIG boy walking in until one of the teachers asked him what his name was and he hid behind me. I hope will loosen up a bit and not be so shy on the big day. I cannot believe my baby is growing up so fast. He thought all the toys were AWESOME! He told us the other day he is excited to go and play but he doesn't want to read.... we may be in trouble!

I wish someone could explain to me why the men are so tired with a newborn? I think it should be required that the MOM gets the naps!!! Hee Hee! He is smitten and she loves to watch him run around and play. As long as he is not two inches from her face she doesn't seem to like that one bit. I cannot believe how much she loves to be on her tummy! This was her first walk (8/24) in a stroller without the car seat attached. She seemed to enjoy herself although we were having a very fussy day! I wanted to write down some of Ryker's saying about and to Sissy- He constantly goes up to her and asks "Do you love brother.... yes or no?" We always tell him she sure does love you! When she starts to fuss or cry he will go up to her and say "Do you need brother?" if she doesn't stop he looks at me and says "She needs you Mama". If I have had any baby blues after Larkyn its because of my little Ryker. It is so hard adjusting to two kids and making sure Ryker gets enough attention. A newborn requires so much attention that I don't want him to feel left out, pushed to the side or that he is not important. I really cannot complain one bit he is an angel with Larkyn and loves her so very much. We are very blessed!   The other night we went on a walk and I was able to spend some one and one time with Ryker. It was so nice! He is growing up so fast and I just cannot believe it. He has got so good at riding his bike. Poor kid it too use to stuff with motors or batteries. Some days he is just too wore out for dinner! Hee Hee!

Not a day goes by that I don't think about my Mom and Grandma. It literally breaks my heart that they never got to meet my babies. I think they would have adored them both. Every time I look at Larkyn she reminds of my Mom with her platinum blonde hair. This year was especially tuff.... a girl needs her Mom especially when she has a baby. Its just not fair and I never will understand. I hate the thought of one day having to explain everything to my babies. I really hate that it never seems to get any easier.   We went to the cemetery and let off balloons so we could send our love all the way up to Heaven. And I LOVE her watching Sissy because I get cute pictures all day long! She is starting to smile more and more everyday Already wants to feed herself I think she may have ate too much! Hee Hee! She also loves to be sitting up. Dont mind the sour look on her face sometimes she can be so serious. Happy dreams LOVE her! She also loves to have her bum aired out! and sleep on her belly!
