I have been trying to do some fun things with the boys this summer that aren't too expensive or extravagant so Daddy is not missing out. So yesterday we went to Stansbury park to feed the ducks and then I took my lovies out to lunch to Carls Jr. so they could play. Briggs told me the Carl's Jr. playground was way more fun than McDonald's. Ryker loves anything he can climb on! This is the first time we have been out to feed the ducks and it was so much fun. A little scary at times because they were hungry and did not like when we were out of food. Both of the boys had so much fun and want to go back asap! Ryker kept telling me he was racing the ducks! The day before was Bryson's 6 th birthday party and they had a party at the track. Ryker wanted to be like all the other kids and try out David's RC truck. I am so proud of my little man that he is patient and waits his turn and does not throw a fit when he needs to give it up and give someone else a turn....

We have been so busy with our yard and summer time activities. I love this time of year and all the family BBQ's and parties but I must say its getting way too HOT for my comfort. Daddy went and got some rock for our drainage ditch and Ryker was so EXCITED to go in the BIG truck. All SMILES! Every night Ryker has been wanting to go for a ride on his dirt bike. He has got really good at steering and doing the gas all by himself basically all we do is sit on the back and occasionally take over if his hand gets tired from twisting. I am so happy that he is liking his bike even more! Chris raced his first race for the season at Desert Peak Complex (big track). He was completely exhausted afterward because he has not rode much due to all the yard work that needs to be done. Hopefully by next year we have most of it completed and he can enjoy his bike more. ENJOYING the Simple things in LIFE!

We had a lot of fun with family and friends this weekend despite the bad weather on Sunday. We took a ride up South Willow canyon and I am so thankful I do not live up there with all the flooding that is going on. I feel so bad for the homeowners. Ryker loved that Daddy let him drive! We had Briggs for 2 days because he was having so much fun playing with Ryker . They fight for a bit then they play like angels. So much fun in the jet tub. They stayed in there for an hour! They were little prunes when they got out. Chris got up early on Saturday morning and caught a big fish but it got away.... he also caught this one which was pretty big. Way to go Daddy! We went to the derby on Saturday which was so lame but I guess it was worth the money because Ryker LOVED to watch the cars crash. He has not stopped talking about it since. One of the cars tires fell off and Ryker said "one sec Mommy Yker go fix it" and he took off to the pit. He was so upset when we had to tell him...

Now that Ryker is older and way more independent I have been getting so bored at home. When he was little it seemed like my days were jam packed trying to take care of the house and a baby. So I have decided we need some more adventure in our days to burn some energy. Last Friday we had Briggs over for a day of fun and today I decided we would pick Briggs up and go to the park. I swear the older I get the more I cannot stand the heat and today was hot.... heaven help me when it really starts to get hot this summer. We spent about 2 1/2 hours at 2 different parks playing. It was a lot fun to spend quality time with my boys! I felt like such a fatty on the tetor toter with the boys but they thought it was so fun!
