The Allen Family

It has been INSANE at the Allen household lately. We have had a lot going on, Chris and I decided to try to put our house up for sale because we really wanted a rambler. I am so tired of the tri -level home.... too many stairs! Don't get me wrong I love our house but it was never a home that we were planning on staying in forever just a starter. Anyways we really did not think it would sell because the housing market is so poor anyways here is a run down of what happened next: 10/21/10 We signed a listing contract and the Realtor put the sign up in our yard. 10/23/10 We had a buyer come look at the house. 10/25/10 We received a contract from the people that came and looked at our house so we took a chance and put in a contract on a house we had been admiring but thought we would never get. 11/17/10 We closed on both our sell and our new house! 11/18/10 Got the keys to new our new house! YEAH! Yes we sold our house in 3 days from putting the sign up! Yes we had to pack, move and...

We took Ryker to his pediatrician on 11/9/10 to get his 2 year check-up. Here are his stats- 23 lb. (4 to 5 th percentile) YEAH we moved up! 32.5" long (15 th percentile) Ryker is all over the chart but Dr. Gould said that is usual and he is growing perfectly! Also I could not be more THRILLED that my boy is done with shots until he enters kindergarten. YEAH!

Our little duck was quite upset with his costume at first as well as his daddy because he thought it looked girly ! Owell Mommy got one more year of dressing her little man as cute as could be. Scary clown Briggs! Ryker was "SO UPSET" at Grandma's and Aunt Tammy's because he thought he could not walk with the duck feet on. Off to waddle around at trunk or treat! TOO CUTE! What a fun Halloween we had this year.

Brycie carved a pumpkin in honor of my Mom's battle with breast cancer. She was such a survivor and amazed me throughout the years that she never let the disease get her down. I love and miss you both so much.

Our annual pumpkin carving was so much FUN! Ryker wanted to help out but did not care to clean the pumpkin out or have his hands touching the "guts" it in anyway.

Ryker woke up last week with a rash from his neck to his toes so I ran him up to his pediatrician and they told me he must be having an allergic reaction to something so just give him benadryl . Well the next day most of the rashes went away but the ones on his legs started to bruise and I knew that could not be normal. I ran him back up to the doctor and they did some blood tests and come to find out he has a rare disease called HSP . It is nothing serious but could be if not looked after. He had a mild case of it and is nothing to worry about now. All his rashes and bruising have gone away now thankfully. This poor boy of mine gets the weirdiest things but luckly its never serious.

Ryker , Wow another FUN year has flown by and you are now turning 2. We just cannot believe how much you have learned and what a busy body you are. You still make everyday such an adventure, we never know what to expect from you. There are so many things you learned this year from walking to talking. Your such a joy in our lives and you make everyday so fun. Daddy is still #1 in your eyes and you light up whenever he comes home. Mommy is good to kiss your owies , snuggle you and drive you crazy with loves. You are definitely all boy (although you do like your “babies” and a blanket when your around Grandma Aleta) because you are constantly dirty and sticky with smelly feet but we love every minute of it. Dirt bikes are your #1 toy and thing to play with. Daddy usually has to take you on your dirt bike every night so you will stop throwing a fit but now we have your training wheels on so we are afraid we are really going to be in trouble. We celebrated our little "treat" 2 nd birthday on Saturday. We had a GREAT party with a lot of family & friends. He was hungry as we were getting set up Daddy & Ryker played in the bounce house as soon as it arrived Playing around Even the adults enjoyed the bounce house Thank you so much to everyone that came to support our little man Ryker spotted the presents so we had to get opening them Spoiled rotten as usual Mommy & Daddy got him his first real helmet for his dirt bike Pinata fun Lots of goodies Gathering up all the goodies Happy birthday to you....
