Ryker at 18 months

I cannot believe my baby will be a 1 1/2 on Friday. People always told me how time flies when you have kids and not to blink because they grow up so fast. Well I totally understand now! I LOVE the stage he is in right now. He is so adventurous and his little mind is always going trying to figure things out and discover new things. Here are some things that Ryker is doing at 18 months- He is totally smitten over his Daddy. When Daddy comes home from work or on the weekends he is a total Daddy's boy which makes me a little sad but I guess boys will be boys. He loves to blow kisses but still does not like to give them. If you ask him for a kiss he usually puts his forehead down for you to kiss it. You are pretty lucky if you actually get a kiss on the lips. Although he LOVES to give his Mommy e skimo kisses. He knows were most all his body parts are. He is still the happiest smiley baby ever and we always get complements on how good and cute he is. He started attending a daycare a...

I have not laughed so hard in a LONG time!

My sister and Briggs were over at my house and we were watching 16 and pregnant (I know I know that he should not be watching that). It was showing the girl in labor and the next thing I know Briggs turns to me and says, "How did Ryker come out of your belly?" I was completely honest and told him that Ryker was cut out of my belly by c-section. This serious and relieved look came across his face and he replied, "Well at least he did not have to come out your butt!" I swear that kid says the funniest things. Oh how I love my Briggs!

Ryker's 18 month pictures

I know we are his parents but honestly he is the cutest little boy in the world! We cannot believe you are going to be 1 1/2 in a week but it has truly been the best time for us. We love you so much Toota!

Just wants to be a big boy!

Summercross 4/17/10

Yes the summer races have started once again and that is were we will be living. We always have such a GREAT time at the races with all our family and friends. I love that Ryker is big enough to play with all the kids this year. He seems to really enjoy himself! Ryker was playing in the dirt and next thing we know he had ate some. It was so funny because Chris was trying to get him to spit so he could get it out of his mouth. He was really trying to spit but looked more like he was puking. Chris did not place very well in either race but he had a lot of fun so that is all that matters. The life of a WiLd 17 month old..... all American BOY !

Arenacross 4/16/10

Chris raced in the first arenacross of the year on Friday night. We are so PROUD of him he took 1st place in both races. Way to go Daddy! Ryker was quite the social butterfly at the races. We had to chase him around to every trailer so Ryker could check out every bike there was. Everyone thought he was as cute as could be and they were all giving him treats and wanting to play with him. Ryker was feeling a little left out that he did not have his dirt bike up there to ride so we pulled out his little 2 mile an hour four-wheeler. He LOVES riding around on it. He pulls the funniest faces! We had to have a pit stop for a little snack. We LOVE that boy! Grandma Aleta & Erwin walking around with Ryker .

We love to go play at the park

and we cannot get enough of the slides!

He loves to wear hats, helmets and .............

BRAS! My little man is always up to something and I must say he sure takes after his daddy.

HaPpY eAsTeR!

Easter was so fun this year! We went camping out to knolls with a bunch of friends and family. We had a big group and lots of little kids. Ryker loves to have other little friends to play with. He was in LOVE with his dirt bike that we had to practically ride it the entire time. Mommy and Daddy's bums are beyond sore from the seat.... believe me the seats are not made for our big tushies ! All the kids loved playing with Ryker especially Dax . He was super sweet with him! Coloring eggs was an adventure. Ryker was not too involved he would much rather be riding his dirt bike and kept reminding us of that! The Easter bunny sure did spoil our little man this year. His big present was his number plates for his dirt bike. They are too cute! All the kids got a basket full of eggs. I wish the weather could have been a bit warmer so early in the morning but it was still a BLAST! It was so fun with Ryker because he understood to look for the eggs, pick them up and put them in his b...

Ryker's 1st dentist appointment

Yesterday we took Ryker to the dentist for his very first check-up. I was so nervous of how the appointment would go because it's a nightmare to brush Ryker's teeth so I figured he would not let the dentist near him. Well to my surprise he actually did really well. The dentist was so nice and playful with Ryker . Ryker loved the waiting room! It was so kid friendly! He had to walk around and check everything out Scribbling with Daddy What a big boy he is! Ryker got a clean bill on his first check up....YEAH! A new toothbrush Giving knuckles to the dentist Then he got to pick out his own toy from the chest. He basically wanted everything out of there!

CrAzY fUn!

Ryker was outside while Daddy was working on the bikes and got a little sleepy. Notice he had to have something from the dirt bike to work on himself. We just love that boy to pieces! Briggs may really hate me when he is older but these pictures were too cute not to post. I was watching Briggs one day when it was snowing pretty bad. He had went outside to play in the snow and got his pants so wet that he took them off for me to dry. Then he accidently sits in some juice Ryker had spilt and his underwear were soaked too. Next thing I know he comes down from the bathroom upstairs with one of Ryker's diapers on ( hee hee ). He comes up with the funniest things! Briggs then wanted his picture taken with Ryker in his diaper too. FUNNY BOYS!
