Tuesday 2/16/10 - Ryker decided he was a big boy and brave enough to take off walking across the living room without being coaxed or coming to another person. Wednesday 2/17/10 - Ryker was still walking and trying so hard to stand up on his own without holding on to anything. He would do this stink bug thing that was so funny to watch but also broke my heart that he could not figure out how to get up. Thursday 2/18/10 - Was Ryker's first day of going "cold turkey" off the bottle ( baba ). He did GREAT and actually slept through the night which has not happened since he had his last cold about three weeks ago. Ryker also finally stood up on his own and went walking. Since then we have been baba free and improving so much on our walking and standing. It only took us 15.5 months to figure this out but owell they do it when they want too. We did have to take Ryker to the pediatrician on Monday 2/22/10 because mommy was concerned that he has not been drinking much at all...

Ryker has been walking a few steps here and there for little while now but last Tuesday 2/16/10 he just decided to take off quite a distant, not to another person and without us coaxing him to do it. Here are some video of him which really does not show how far he was actually going. He was really going all over before I grabbed the video camera. Please do not look at all my laundry in the living room our basement is not finished so it's freezing down there so I fold it in the living room. My house does not usually look like this!

I am so in LOVE with Ryker!

We headed out Friday morning for the Wintercross Races in Heber . It was so cold and snowy up there but we stayed bundled up and kept warm in the camp trailer when the boys were not racing. Ryker LOVED watching all the " nene's " (dirt bikes). I cannot get enough of his face in this picture! Chris got the holeshot Chris & Vern Chris & Vern Ryker & Daddy watching the races Chris took 3rd place on Friday night. He also took 3rd place on the first race Saturday and 4 th on the other giving him 4 th all around. He also got an award with goodies for taking the holeshot . Ryker is learning to walk so all he wants to do is walk around everywhere. Playing in the trailer We had such a fun weekend hanging out with family & friends!

Yesterday we took Ryker to his well check visit which I hate! I cannot wait until after his 18 month check-up and then he will not have to have shots again until he is 4....thank goodness. I hate to see my poor little guy in pain and I swear he knows they are going to give him shots because he starts crying as soon as the lady walks in. Here are Ryker's current stats: 19 lb. 4 oz. (3rd%) 30 3/4" long (50 th %) 18 cm head circumference (25 th %) We love or tall skinny boy so much. He brings so much joy to our lives! Here are some things Ryker does/likes/dislikes etc. at 15 months: He is OBSESSED with playing with his dirt bikes, trucks, four-wheelers or basically anything that has wheels. He DID sleep through the night since about 11 months until he got this last cold (about a week and half ago) and now he getting up at 4 a.m. to be snuggled/bottle for a few minutes and then he goes back down.
