Why oh why does my little man have to be growing up so fast? He sure is a HANDSOME little boy!

I have my slacking a little this week so I need to catch up. Last weekend Chris and his friends raced in the "Wild West" motocross race at the complex. It's a huge event that travels around the western states. There was a lot of riders but I was so proud of our boys. They did GREAT! Chris took fifth place in both of his races. I think he is doing great since he has only had his dirt bike for two years. He is really keeping up well with everyone who are much for experienced on a dirt bike. Chris has always rode a quad but he has really taken up a lot of interest in his dirt bike that he hardly ever rides the four-wheeler anymore. Daddy's #1 fan taking a quick cat nap.... After the races we joined my sister and her family up the canyons for dinner and some four-wheeling.

Mommy was really busy cleaning and obviously not giving me the attention I demand and deserve so I took it upon myself to take a nap while I wait for her......

I love him! I know I am his mommy but I do have to say we have a CUTE , CUTE , CUTE boy! I absolutely LOVE everything about him. He is the BEST thing I have ever done in my entire life. He TRULY completes me and I don't know what I would without HIM !

I was trying to get some pictures/video of Ryker new found activity....clapping but he kept making the funniest faces. We just LOVE him so much!

We went to a new pediatrician Dr. Gould for Ryker's 9 month check-up on 8/5. He was so GREAT with Ryker and took his time talking to us and answering every little question we had. I am so pleased that we switched, I could not ask for a kinder man. Ryker's stats are- Weight- 16 pounds 1 ounce: 3rd% (Poor little Ryker keeps dropping in the weight percentages but it is just because he is getting so tall. He is going to be tall and skinny like his daddy. Plus the doctor is happy because he is on track to triple his birth weight by a year and that is the requirement.) Length- 27 1/2 inches: 35th% Head circumference- 17 1/2: 30th% At 9 months Ryker interests are- To roll around EVERYWHERE! That might be an understatement because I am wondering if he is ever going to crawl because he can get to where he wants and fast with rolling. He rolls to whatever room we are in to find us. I love that we have had so many fun things going on this summer and that I usually have something to post about after each weekend. This last weekend Chris raced his dirt bike on Friday night and did really well. He was not feeling too well that day but decided to go ahead and race...what a trooper! Our friends Vern, his son Jordan, Dakota and Garn all raced too so we had quite a crowd cheering for all the boys. Ryker loves to go to the races or anywhere really with four-wheelers and dirt bikes. He loves the sound of them and he really pays attention as they go by... maybe it's because I was always around it or riding when I was pregnant with him. We went camping to the sand dunes this last weekend and had a BLAST! We have not been out there with such good weather in a long time. We had a whole crew of people to camp with so it made it so much fun. Ryker has too much fun with the simplest things! When we did take him on rides he would get so upset when we would stop or when we would be done with a ride he would throw a complete fit. It was so funny!

We had a fun filled weekend with the county fair and the Demolition Derby on Saturday night. We went to support Chris' brothers Travis, Cody and Uncle Chad all competed and did really well.... expect poor Cody his car broke down before the heat even started.
