Welcome to the family Kona

It's been rough losing our sweet Hadley. Larkyn wanted to explore getting another kitty and this sweet one popped up on KSL the day after Christmas, so we went to pick her up. The day we brought her home we received Hadley's urn. I told Larkyn it was her way of telling us it was okay to love another kitty. Kona is a spitfire and wild. She is so cute and cuddly as well.

Christmas

What a beautiful, blessed Christmas we had. Of course, we were so spoiled by all our family. The kids got everything they wanted and more. I love spending time with my family. It was so nice to celebrate in our finished basement.

Mecham Family Christmas Party

We had a chili dinner at the church then Bard set up a hayride for us. It was so much fun to go through town and see all the Christmas lights. I have never been on a hayride before, and I was so impressed. It was a bit chilly outside, but we brought lots of blankets. People were coming out of their houses thinking we were carolers, so we had to sing.

Merry Christmas to the Allen's Truck Edition

Our new 2024 Ford F450 dully was finally built, and we got to bring her home. I can't wait to see where she takes us.

Gingerbread houses

Our annual gingerbread houses turned out so cute. We had a blast making them and eating too much of the candy! Mom's, Ryker's and Addie's. Larkyn didn't finish hers she was too busy eating the candy. HEE HEE

Snowman craft at Grandma's

Grandma got us all together to do a cute snowman craft. It was quite the adventure trying to piece everything together. Larkyn was not into doing the craft, so she just watched everyone.

Thanksgiving at Sand Hollow

I know we don't have the typical family traditions for Thanksgiving, but we love what we do. Camping is always a great time with this crew. I love that we have our own funky way of celebrating. It was a great time with great weather.
