RMX South Series Round 1- Mesquite

We got to start out the season in warm Mesquite. Ryker raced his first time on the 85 and did really well. Oh my heart! Larkyn is getting so brave and doing amazing. Chris had an awful time. First moto he had a flat back tire and no time to get air in it. Second moto he went down but luckily with the new brace his shoulder stayed in place. He was a tired boy!

What a month....

Dad passed out one morning at Jay's having coffee so they called me to get him to go to the hospital. After they ran every test on him they decided to test him for covid. He was positive. So the ripple effect happened and went through the plant. Aleta kept the kids so we wouldn't expose them so Chris and I had 10 days locked in the house by ourselves. It was boring and weird but it was fun to laugh and reconnect just the two of us. We have never been away from the kids so long.  Mrs. Painter got Larkyn some chicken unicorn socks and she LOVES them! Piper was so jealous when we had to go bottle feed the calf. Piper stayed with the kids at Grandma's and she was so excited to be back with Chris and I. I think even more than the kids. Waiting at the vet taking naps.
