Summer days

Grandma and Grandpa Phillips, Tony and Melinda got Larkyn some cute outfits and panties for her birthday. As soon as we opened them up she wore them for the rest of the night like this. Fashionista moment again! Ryker went over to Grandma's and got his crafty side on. Happy with his project Finished light house All lite up!   I love when this little man snuggles with me. He is never too big to snuggle his Mama! This girl loves books and I hope it remains that way.  Just because she is pregnant she thinks she is entitled to ride the Wal-Mart jazzie. BAHAHAHAHAHA

Mama & Ryker movie date

It was so nice to take some time with just Ryker and take him to do something special. He had been wanting to see "Planes Fire and Rescue" so we went out for a date.  He loves the movies and I think it made him feel special which I always want him to feel that way. We needed some one on one time.  I love my boy more than I can explain.

Sunday ride up our gorgeous mountains

We took a quick little ride up the mountains to cool off and enjoy the summer afternoon. Of course Sis had to go with Grandma. Ryker wanted to ride with Zoey. I love when I want him to smile for the camera he does but doesn't look at it. Silly kids we have.  Larkyn was sharing water with "ZZ" aka Zoey. Larkyn cannot say her name so she calls her ZZ.  Throwing rocks at this metal piece  Poor ZZ.... run from the crazy toddler!  Helping Grandma  We went up Miners Canyon and decided to go inside the mine a ways. We went in about 250 ft and I was having a little bit of a panic attack. It was really cool to see but not the most responsible thing to do,  It was so cute on the way up the trail I was in flip flops so it wasn't exactly easy. Ryker was ahead of me saying, "Are you okay Mom?", "Can you make that turn mom?" It melted my heart he was looking out for me.

Bear's 5th Birthday Party

We have had a summer full of birthday and parties. The kids have been having so much fun playing with one another. Miss Minnie Mouse herself Ryker is getting a little more comfortable in the water. Hopefully starting swimming lessons again this year will help him out.  Derby in the pool  A daddy and his girl  Grandma is always willing to go down with the kids. Secretly I think she wants to cool off, They didn't wind up going down because Larkyn wasn't in the mood for it.  Jump Jump Jump   Travis (the smart Daddy) decided it would be great fun for the kids to jump off the trampoline into the pool. It was pretty fun to watch and luckily no one got hurt. Sis loves the trampoline Pinata time Hit it lovie! We tried to have Larkyn hit it and when she went to she seen the ninja turtle and started crying. Hee! Hee! Poor girl! Running for the candy   Present time We s...

Ryker's first eye exam

I wanted Ryker to get a real eye exam from my doctor who knows my history before he started kindergarten. With all my eye problems I figured it would we wise plus kindergarten requires it.  He was so good and patient  Damn he is so cute. I am always amazed looking at him knowing Chris and I created that handsome, smart, funny, naughty little man.  They dilated his eyes and as they got blurrier he was getting impatient. I was shocked they do that but they said they can get a more accurate reading. He is a tiny bit far sided in one eye 20/25 with a slight stigmatism but he is not worried about it now because it is so slight. He could grow out of it or it could have been a slight error because he is only 5 and its hard to do the exams on them so young. He is 20/20 in the other eye.   I am so happy his vision is good and we don't need glasses but we had fun trying them on anyways. Even if he does ever have to...

Easton's 4th Birthday Party

We had so much fun celebrating our little buddy Easton. Chris always enjoys getting together with his brothers to chit chat. Sis was trying so hard to make it to the top  Such a cute little man   He is 4!  Oh my hell Gauge is 12 and Chris is 33. WOW he is going to be one tall boy.  Poor Travis is going to have to slap and scream upwards LOL (he was slouching down)   Silly girls were having too much fun   The boys were playing with Easton's new toys  The boys and I wanted to check out the electric fence  YES we are dumb!
