Chris, Shay, Brett and Ryker decided to go for a ride on Saturday. It was so incredibly foggy at knolls they didn't stay long. They packed up and headed back to Dell where the weather was better. Ryker was so excited to wear his new riding gear from Santa. He rode to hard and fast his training wheels broke off and he crashed. But he doesn't seem scared to get back on. I think we are ready for it to be spring! It's just too cold to do much of anything than sit in the house. We decided to venture out for a day of shopping with Tulsa and Spring because we all had cabin fever. Could those eyes be anymore stunning? Owie look at the bruise across her nose. She tripped over her own feet the night before on the tile and I was shocked with how bruised it is she didn't have a bloody nose. Watching brother and Daddy play a shooting game Hit em' all buddy! We went to play in the snow and do some shooting This last snow storm left us with a lot of snow to play in. Thank goodness for the heater in the RZR. I love miss Larkyn too but Ryker was watching me draw in the snow while Sis slept Shooting his new zombie apocalypse soft pellet gun from Brandi Now the .22 Sadie was taking cover under Shay because the gun shots scared her. You wouldn't know it now but she use to be a good bird dog. All smiles pretending she is driving Snow angels Poor Larkyn had so many layers on she could barely walk around by herself The kiddos found a hill to sled down The love these two share would melt any Mama's heart! Sis loves her Grandma and knows how to work her. What a GREAT day to start off the New Year with family and friends!

I have dealt with death way too much in my life, some VERY hard ones. Losing a parent that wasn't very old (56) is unreal, heartbreaking, devastating and just not fair. But being a parent myself and having to explain death to a 5 year old is HARD. Aleta, Erwin and Shay's dog Andre had to be put down on Friday. He was 15 years old and has been around all of Ryker's life. He wasn't really close to him because he was a grumpy old dog but Andre was just always there and is the first death Ryker has experienced first hand. We went and helped bury Andre with Aleta and Erwin so Ryker was right in the middle of it all. He was so confused when were burying his body because he is in heaven with his Grandma's (that he never met but hears me talk about and goes the cemetery to decorate). I had explained to him that Andre was in heaven healthy and happy and with his Grandma's so when we were burying him he was beyond confused. I tried to explain that his soul is in ...

New year fresh start....   I need and half to stick with losing weight. I am not happy with myself at all and I want to CHANGE that! The above will take this! and this! So I can learn this.... I also want to give more and donate more to this cause because I just DO NOT think anyone should suffer with cancer especially children! I want to... and do all this with my lovies I know I will be happier if I can work on this.... So to get me through all my goals this year I need to do this! There you have it.... It's written down Emily now ACT on it!

Aleta had her annual New Year's eve dinner and party. The kids were helping/playing doing dishes before the party. Let's just say they were completely drenched. Serious  TV watching face! Rough housing I LOVE these little men! WII fun Miss Larkyn did not make it until midnight. She just passed out in the middle of the floor all by herself. 2013 was a GREAT and FUN year.... We hope 2014 brings us happiness and health for ourselves and all our family & friends!
