WiLd ride of having a little drama queen

We are adjusting great to having two little lovies but man oh man I feel like a first time Mama again. This is how our days have been- Wednesday (7/18)- Discharged from the hospital and sent to Primarys for the ultrasound. We are so grateful everything is A-O-K! Thursday- Uneventful (suppose to be my scheduled c-section day) Friday- Pediatrician appointment to get ultrasound results. Our little chunk weighed in at 6.9 lb. He sent us to the hospital for a jaundice blood test because babies usually peak on day 5 after birth. Test came back at 6.9 which is great no need to re-check. Saturday- Uneventful Sunday- Larkyn kicked her umbilical cord and it really pulled off, it was hanging on by a thread and looked so gross. We were scared what was going to happen when the rest fell off so we took her to the ER. They cut it off and sent us home. Ultrasound at Primary's 7/18

The pediatrician in the hospital was worried about this little dimple/hole in Larkyn's bum crack. I guess sometimes the hole (tail) does not close off and fluids can flow to the spinal cord causing infections. We took her to Primary's for an ultrasound and thank the Lord above its just a dimple! We do not have to get it checked again... . she isperfectly fine!
