This was our first adventure outside all day while trying to potty train Ryker . I brought the potty chair along with us and he used that most of the time. We did manage to pee outside once. The boy loves to be outside All the men hard at work Gee I guess I am not suppose to bother him with pictures while he is getting a drink Ryker was working hard as well Poor Chris always has the bad job he gets kicked a lot but I am grateful he jumps in there so my Dad is not doing it. He looks out for my Dad and I appreciate it! Typical Pa Pa with his tongue out. Ryker does the same thing when he is concentrating on something . He can play anywhere He found a bunch of ear tags on the ground and was putting them just so!

Memorial Day

I miss my Mom and Grandma so much!

We headed out to the sand dunes for the weekend. It had been such a long time since we had been out there and camped by the actual face. It was not as crowded this year as it usually is but I must be getting old because I just do not like all the chaos anymore. It makes me too nervous to camp there with the kiddos. All in all it was a FUN weekend with friends. Chris and this little girl kept racing Daddy built Ryker a jump. I keep telling Ryker if he goes #2 on the potty I will buy him a four-wheeler like that. Potty training when your camping was not that fun but Ryker liked peeing on the tires! He loves "Bob the Builder" so he had to wear this hat all day. He was pretending to talk on the phone aka shovel. Jesse pulling some sick tricks LOVE THIS BOY! He loved the way the sand felt. He would constantly lay in it. At one point in the weekend Ryker and this little girl kept taking turns burying each other in the sand. The gang out riding! David taking his little girl...

Bring on the BBQ's....

Now that we have a concrete pad poured. We hired Scott Turner and he did an awesome job and got it done right away. Now we are moving onto the fence.

My Mom's house

I wanted to post these pictures of my Mom and Grandma's house that they lived in before they passed so I would never forget. My Mom took such GREAT pride in her house and these photos do not even do it justice. Her yard was immaculate and there was detail and personal touch throughout the whole house. She had hand painted flowers on each of the doors and even the rock steps outside the front of the house leading to the front door had her hand painted flowers. I wish I would of took one of the rock steps but I did not dare due to resale value. I do have a planter that says "Wanda's Flowers" and a sign that says "Wanda's House" that my Mom hand painted. I miss them both so very much! Grandma's room (it was staged for resale purposes) My Mom's room The house is 3 bedroom, 1 bath, 1,415 square feet. It was built in 1938 and is on the Boulder City historical register. It was the PERFECT house for the two of them and they LOVED it!

Just like his Daddy!

We had a laid back weekend and took a couple drives around town. Ryker LOVES to ride in the bronco. He always has to have his gun and knockers in case he sees a bird.... hee hee ! Then Daddy was installing the hitch for our new toy hauler and of course his little buddy needed to help!

Day 6 & 7

Day 6- Ryker had a much better day at daycare with potty training I think Angie and Ryker figured eachother out. She would take him to the potty every hour and she even said Chase took him a couple times. He LOVES Chase and always talks about him so I think that hepls to have a buddy be proud of him as well. She also said he stayed dry through his nap again today. When I went to pick him up from daycare Angie and Ryker wanted to show me his potty chair, chart and stickers and Ryker's face lite up with excitement, you could tell how PROUD he was. Now if only he would tell us all the time when he has to go that would be GREAT but we are getting there! 1.5 accident (The whole number was a poop accident... we really need to catch him in the act of pooping so we can get him on the potty to know he needs and its okay to go in there. The half was a little pee accident that Shay caught mid way and he finished in the potty) ‎8.5 successes Wow he went a lot of times today.... must have...

Day 4 & 5

Day 4- Ryker told us twice today that he needed to go to the potty so that was a huge progress and success. He did poop in his undies for the first time and also in his pull-up when we put him down for a nap so I am not sure if that was considered 2 accidents because he was in a pull-up down for a nap. We also finally took the poor little lovie out of the house and for a ride in the truck we made sure he went potty before we left and kept asking him and he stayed dry the whole hour we were gone. He loves to be outside but I have really wanted to keep him close to home so we could get the basics down . Thank goodness it has been raining because he understand we cannot go o ut in the rain otherwise it might be hell. Tomorrow will be a challenging he goes to daycare for the first time since we started training but Angie is AWESOME and will have him going like a champ in no time! 1 accident (It was a poop too and not so fun! But at least no pee accidents today!) ‎5 successes Day 5-...

Day 2 & 3 of potty training

Day 2- Was a bit of struggle for Mommy I was going stir crazy in the house but Ryker actually did better then day 1. I think he did purposely wait until nap time to poop, once I got his pull-up on and put him down for a nap after about 10 minutes he yelled "Mommy stinky". I was proud that he at least he told me he had pooped because that is only the second time he ever has. He has never seemed to mind to have a wet or soiled diaper. You can tell that with his big boy undies he does not like to be wet. 3 accidents 5 successes Day 3- Daddy offered to give Mommy a much appreciated break and stay home with Ryker while she went to work. Daddy was very successful to, Ryker told him at one point "Daddy pee" so they went to the potty and he actually went. We were all so thrilled that I called him from work and so did Grandma to praise him and tell him how proud we are of him. He did not tell us anymore throughout the day but hey its a start. He also stayed dry through...

Gage's 3rd Birthday Party

We got invited to Gage's birthday party at "Bouncing off the Walls". It was so much for all the kids. They seemed to really enjoy themselves and all the bouncers. Gage and Ryker love to be pushed down on the tramp or in the bounce houses. Love his lips! Going down the big slide Ryker was no dummie he kept having Shay or Daddy take him up the hard stairs. It was hard work and he was not going to do it. Cash and Ryker coming down the big slide together Playing some b ball with Daddy He loved the obstacle course especially when Daddy would chase him and throw him down WEEEEEE ! What to do next? Two of the MOST HANDSOME boys there are! Kids don't come any cuter! So much fun going down with Daddy Waiting for Mommy to get him a cupcake WOW ready to eat it all gone The little gun from his gift bag. It looks like he will be a po po when he grows up! Thank you so much Gage for letting us come to your birthday party we had so much FUN! Happy 3rd Birthday Buddy....
