THIEF!

So I am embarrassed to say I think I am raising a little thief! Dora, Ryker and I went shopping in SLC today and we stopped at Sally’s Beauty Supply. Ryker was running around like a crazy man of course touching everything (I think he was sick of being in a cart and stuck in the car) anyways when we went to leave I was putting him in the car seat and noticed something in his pocket. Yes he STOLE! I was so embarrassed I had to take it back into the store and the ladies were laughing because they thought he was so cute! He loves to put stuff in his pockets so I guess I will have to frisk him when we leave stores from now on (hee hee) because this 2 year old does not understand yet!

He is an adventure!

I had to stop Ryker in the act.... he uses his beep beep aka the fork lift from Cars as his fork now. He would stick the grapes in the forks and drive them to his mouth!

I love you Mom!

Why did she have to go So young I just don't know why Things happen half the time Without reason without rhyme Lovely, sweet young woman Daughter, wife and mother Makes no sense to me I just have to believe She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting And I know she's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me Loved ones she left behind Just trying to survive And understand the why Feeling so lost inside Anger shot straight at God Then asking for His love Empty with disbelief Just hoping that maybe She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting And I know she's smiling saying Don't worry 'bout me It's hard to say goodbye Her picture in my mind Will always be of times I'll cherish And I won't cry 'cause She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angel...

SHOPOHOLIC!

At first he tried loading up that wheel barrel full of toys! Too funny!

Disney on Ice

Since Ryker did so GREAT at Monster Jam we decided to try another adventure so we got tickets to Disney on Ice. Ryker is so into Mickey Mouse right now so we figured he would love the show. Of course when we got there we had to get a Mickey Mouse toy Ryker was more than stoked to have a new Mickey We also had to get a snow cone in a Mickey Mouse cup before we could take our seats I LOVE the look on his face when the show started! It was so Magical Ryker was such a good boy sitting in seat watching the show He did not let Mickey out of his sight he had to watch the show right along with us Ryker got a little bored during the princess part so we had to walk the halls until that was over. What can I say he is truly ALL BOY! I think Mommy and Daddy enjoyed the show just as much as Ryker The finale was a Christmas scene and it was spectacular! INTENSE!!! All the characters See you next time Mickey and Minnie! I love that Ryker is bigger and we can take him to special things t...

Our week of sickness....

Our poor little guy has been so sick the last week with an ear infection, cough and a runny nose. So as the pictures show we spent 4 days inside.... Mommy and Ryker were going insane being couped up inside! We took him to urgent care to get some medicine Did a lot of napping Mommy and Daddy decided we would put a TV and DVD player in his room because after the 40 th time of watching "Cars" we could not handle it anymore. He LOVES it too! Ryker helped Mommy with everything from house cleaning, laundry and cooking dinner Since he obviously cannot go outside to burn energy he decided to have a little too much FUN with his soup. He was a MESS to clean up! Why oh Why would you put it in your hair? We also took lots of baths because Ryker loves to play in the tub. He is one CLEAN boy!

8/24/10

Gone yet not forgotten, Although we are apart, Your spirit lives within me, Forever in my heart. No farewell words were spoken, No time to say goodbye, You were gone before we knew it, And only God knows why. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.

All in a days work

Last Friday Chris played hookie from work so we could get some serious needed yard work done. Chris, Ryker and I really busted butt and got a lot accomplished. Not a dent in what all needs to be done but hey it was something. Ryker was making funny faces at Mommy in Papa's tractor He really gets hard at it when it comes to playing Getting really into his work! Daddy loves shooting orders at Mommy while he PLAYS in the backhoe We really have considered just building a huge track ( Bubba style) .... THE ALLEN COMPOUND! But we figure our neighbors would not appreciate that! It's exhausting working aka playing That you even have to occasionally take a break and have a beer! (Grandpa Allen stopped by and left behind a used beer can.... NO he did not actually drink any.... well maybe that very last drip.... we are going to be in trouble when he gets older.... hee hee !) Our work for the day WE ROCK!

Papa

Ryker , Chris and I are so incredibly blessed to have such a GREAT man in our lives. My Dad and Ryker have such a special bond. Papa is always concerned about his boy is doing and it has shown this week. Ryker has been so sick and I bet my Dad calls every two hours or so to make sure he is okay. My Dad cannot go two days without stopping in to see him and play. It touches my heart in so many ways that Ryker and him are so close and will continue to grow closer. I have always been a Daddy's girl and I can see that Ryker is going to follow right in my footsteps as he a lready adores both his own Daddy and his Papa. My Dad has always been there for me now matter how difficult things have got and believe me we have went through our share of trials and tragedy's. I am truly lucky to have him and I hope he knows just how much he means to all of us. I know Chris is the son that my Dad never had due to the poor man having 3 girls. Chris looks at my Dad the same way and depends ...
