PoTtY pArTy!

I don't think Ryker is ready to start being potty trained yet but I wanted to buy him a potty so he could get familiar with it. He really thought it was interesting! I just love that baby bum! ( lol ) Oh I get it Daddy! This is fun stuff although I did not go potty! Mommy has a "how to" book coming on potty training because I don't even know were to start. Wish me luck when it's time!

Mother's Day

I had such a GREAT Mother's Day. Chris and Ryker surprised me with flowers, a card and breakfast. Then we headed up to the canyons with family to ride four-wheelers and dutch oven. It was a peaceful and relaxing day. Briggs Chris having to climb every hill he could find. Ryker & Aunt Shay Justin Brycie taking Ryker for a ride Erwin and Aleta making sure our dinner does not burn. Silly boy It was a little chilly so we sat in the enclosed trailer to get out of the wind. Bret I am so truly blessed to have Ryker in my life. He is the best part of me and the most wonderful son a mommy could ask for. I am so so so proud to be his mommy. Words cannot express just how much I love that little man and how happy I am to be his mommy! Happy Mother's Day to my three mom's (Patty, Dawn and Aleta). These women mean the absolute world to me and have helped me in every way to become the woman I am today. I appreciate them all so much and still learn so much from them!

Branding calves

We did our annual branding calves this weekend and as usual we had a blast and got a lot done. It's always so fun to let all the kids play together. Ryker really enjoyed riding the horse with Daddy! Briggs caught a lizard Chris working hard Ryker was working hard too! Hard at it Ryker has to check out everything. Playing in the dirt We just love that boy! We got a lot branded and ear marked And of course we had to have some fun letting the kids ride the calves Poor little guy got hurt be he bucked up and took it like a man after a hug from his daddy! Almost made an 8 second ride

Ryker's 18 month check-up

He loves his little car! We had Ryker's 18 month check-up on Friday and here are his stats- 31.5 tall (40 th %) 20 pounds 11 ounces (3rd%) Woohoo we finally made it over 20lbs with no clothes! 18 1/4 head circumference (25 th %) Dr. Gould said he is growing GREAT and doing GREAT with his development . We did not have to have any shots this time thank goodness but we did of course have to have some drama . The last time Ryker was at the pediatrician he had to have antibiotic shots for three days in a row to clear up a really bad ear infection. The shots hurt really bad and Ryker was miserable for those three days. Anyways I think he remembered it all because as soon as we went in the room he was freaking out so much that he threw up 5 times. Poor Chris was holding him and it got all over him, Ryker and the floor. I asked the nurse for a mop and when she came to give me some stuff the poor lady was gagging! What a nightmare!
