The day after Christmas

We still had some VERY SPECIAL people to go visit during this holiday season so we loaded up and headed to my Uncle Jack and Aunt Katie's house to visit with them and Grandma McCabe . I love that Ryker is able to know some of his great great grandparents. After visiting with them for a while it was off to the rest home to see Grandma Fidler . Grandma Fidler , Aleta & Ryker !

Christmas morning was so much fun with little Ryker . He was so spoiled by everyone! That Santa sure knows what he is doing. When Ryker crawled into the living room he did not know were to begin. I think it was a little overwhelming for him. Grandma & Grandpa Allen and Aunt Shay Shay came over to watch Ryker open his presents Lots of learning toys that make sounds He loves his leap frog table But I think the next is the BEST present of all. Mommy & Daddy could not resist..... Although he cannot walk yet with out assistant... we could not resist hooking him up with his first dirt bike! Don't be alarmed we will be riding it with him for quite a while then the training wheels will go. Hey you never know Ryker could be the next " Bubba Stewart"! Then it was off to all our families houses Of course Grandpa Allen got him a truck with dirt bikes and as you can see he loves the dirt bike wont let go for a second FUN FUN FUN Ryker was THRILLED for daddy's n...

We're riding in a wonderland of snow...

Last Sunday we went on our annual sledding trip with my sisters family. We always have such a fun time together! Ryker was able to join in on the fun this year and he really seemed to enjoy himself. Although his mommy did dress him like the kid off the "The Christmas Story", poor little guy could not move but he stayed warm! Daddy and Ryker are ready to go Sitting on the four- wheeler Ryker on his own sled Mommy loves her boys Daddy is a big kid himself Our little family all bundled up Toota sitting in the snow (Don't judge the light purple pants that's all the store had and my boy had to stay warm) Our snow angel Sledding wore him out completely Outside the snow is falling And friends are calling " Yoo Hoo " Come on, it's lovely weather For a sleigh ride together with you

On Saturday we took Ryker to the Polar Express in Heber . It was so much fun to go with family and friends and see the excitement in all the kids faces. As you know Ryker LOVES being around other kids so he was in heaven because we had a train cart full. We went out to dinner at the Hub all dressed in our pajamas but everyone in the restaurant knew what we were doing and kept complimenting us on our matching pajamas . Then it was off to board the train. Elves greeted us as we got on the train, we got cookies and hot coca to snack on while we sang songs, told jokes and read the Polar Express book. As we came upon the North Pole Ryker was amazed to see Santa out of the window. He was so amazed we could not keep him from looking out the window the entire ride back to the station. He did great meeting Santa but was a little sceptical about Mrs. Clause who held him. All in all it was a great experience and new tradition that we will keep. He's a climber

Our house has a lot stairs that we have had gated on for quite a while. When ever C hris or I go through the gates and leave Ryker on the main floor he stands at the gate and cries like we just broke his heart. The other day we decided to see if he could go up the stairs on his own. Well he acted like he has been doing it for ages and he was so proud of himself.

Helping my daddy!

Last night Chris was baby proofing our kitchen because Ryker has figured out how to help himself to all the cupboards. Ryker was just fascinated by the power drill and wanted to be so involved . We love our little man he makes every day an adventure!
