Before we even found out the Ryker was a boy we went to the sand dunes and seen this shirt. I knew all along he was going to be a boy so I just had to but it for him. It has always been a joke within our family that Chris is such a "BOOB MAN" so it just fits that our little boy would wear this shirt ( lol ) I think this may be the only picture I have of Ryker that he is not smiling for the camera but he was a little grumpy this week trying to cut those top teeth so it's okay!

Finally these little pearly whites have popped through. Ryker has been cranky and struggling for a week straight now to cut his top teeth. I have felt so bad for him but now he is back to normal... thank goodness! With his bottom 2 teeth I did not even know he had broke them through but these seemed to be a lot harder for him. Oh my baby is getting so big! 7/24/09

We headed out to Rock Springs, Wyoming on the 23rd after work to go visit Chris' Grandparents, Aunt Melinda, Uncle Tony and cousins Taylor & Jordan. It is a 3 hour drive and Ryker did pretty good in the truck playing with Grandma Aleta and Aunt Shay. Taylor & Jordan with Ryker . They were so good him with all weekend I barley had to anything to take care of him because they wanted to do everything for him. Shay & Taylor It was Taylor's 13 th birthday on the 24 th so we went rock climbing at the Civic Center to celebrate. We had a little party to open presents with cake and ice cream. Later on that night we all got together and went to dinner to celebrate some more. Happy 13 th Birthday Taylor! Shay made it to the top.... ROCK ON! My niece is "13" years old today! She is such a kind-hearted, talented, outgoing fun person to be around. She is so GREAT with my son and she loves him like he is her own. She is always there to lend a helping hand and does it with no complaints. I am so proud to call her my niece and friend. We love you so much Brycie and are so proud of the young woman you have become. HAPPY "13th" BIRTHDAY!

I know your probably thinking why did we cut his hair because it does not look like he has much! Believe me he had some major long pieces on top so we thought we would just give him a little buzz so it can all grow in even. Plus my girlfriend's little girl is 5 and seriously does no have much hair at all so when she had her boy she shaved his head and it grew like crazy (she wishes she would have shaved her girls head from the get go because she swears that it why it's thicker and grows so much better) . Now I am a licensed cosmetologist so I don't see how that will help but hey its worth a try. I could not believe Ryker did so well, I think he liked the vibration on his little head plus he had an attachment to play with. Bring it on mommy! Hee Hee that tickles..... Wait I dropped my attachment and I really need it! I really don't know where this sad/grumpy face came from because he was so GREAT throughout the whole thing. I told ya he had some very long pieces. ...

The other night over to Aunt Dora's house Chris was playing with Ryker and was hanging him upside down. When he was upside down he would laugh so loud and giggle up a storm. Ever since then all he wants to do it be swung upside down. He is such a GoOf ! (Sorry for the poor picture quality but they were taken with my phone)

Ryker has been really spending a lot of time on his tummy without us coaxing him into. We have had a really hard time since he was little making him have tummy time but now he seems to be figuring it out on his own. He does this funny little swimming thing trying to get somewhere.

My little rug rat is fascinated by our stereo so he figured out how to open the tape cassette part and there was a cassette in there we did not know about next thing we know he is tearing it apart. We were watching him the entire time and could not believe how smart he is, he loves to figure things out. Of course daddy took out the tape and gave him back the cassette . I guess this is a sign we need to really baby proof the house!!!!

Little Ryker is obsessed with toothbrushes (yeah) and I really hope it stays that way in the future!

Last night Ryker was eating dinner and could not keep his poor little eyes open....

We had a GREAT Fourth of July this year with Ryker . He was so much fun and was such a good boy all day long. He loved watching all the kids, excitement and especially the fireworks. We started out the day with watching the parade, moved on to the park, went to Dora's house for a big BBQ where the kiddies played in the pool. Later on that night we walked over the park to watch the big fireworks then we finished the day off at Dora's with a little firework show of our own. Ryker at the parade in his "Mom's Pride & Joy" Fourth of July shirt. He loved all the noise and craziness of the parade especially when the bands would come by and play music.
